Our Journey RV Rentals is excited to bring Overlanding opportunities to our fleet with the addition of Green Thunder who is a cross between a VW bus and a Jeep Wrangler!
Let’s start with the sleek, all-season rooftop tent by Ursa Minor J30. The hardtop roof brings peace of mind in stormy weather and comes equipped with Yakima roof racks so you can bring your bikes, surfboard, etc. The Ursa Minor J30 has plenty of room for 2 adults and provides panoramic views from all four sides. Included are REI Co-op Camp Bed Self-Inflating Sleeping Pads which bring the mattress thickness to about 5”. Renters will be responsible for providing their own sleeping bags. Setup can be done in just a few minutes which is amazing.
4WD and top of the line tires allow you to explore off the beaten path along with upgraded headlights for your wilderness adventures. Even though Green Thunder is more than capable of rock crawling and maneuvering the most rugged terrains this is not allowed. This is for your safety as you will likely not have a cell signal to call for roadside assistance or a personal emergency.
Green Thunder comes with 50 Qt ARB fridge/freezer that will keep your food and drinks ice cold without having to worry about the melted water ruining your food. The 12V fridge/freezer is powered by a Dometic Lithium Iron Phosphate battery that provides up to 40 hours of cooling. Wait my reservation is 3 days or longer? No fear because the Jeep battery continually charges the Dometic as you drive too. Up top is the Vector Offroad cargo basket that gives you ample storage for your cargo.
It isn’t much you’ll need to bring other than food as we provide place settings for 4 including pots and pans, 2 burner propane grill with propane included, 7-gallon water jug to drink and to wash dishes, camp table, and 2 chairs.
Fly into Rogue Valley International Airport in Medford, OR just 30 minutes away, and have Green Thunder pick you up! We are located 2 hours away from the breath-taking Oregon coast, Crater Lake National Park, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park (California), and half days drive from San Francisco or Seattle.
****Green Thunder comes with an enabled GPS tracker for your and our protection. This is used to simply track daily mileage and vehicle alerts which include crash detection. In the event you change or deactivate the GPS device you will be charged a one-time non-refundable penalty of $500
Absolutely NO Smoking/Vaping of any substance (legal or illegal) is allowed in Green Thunder. Any evidence of such will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit. ****

• Please arrive on time to the agreed upon departure time as there is a $25/ hour fee if you are late. Late arrivals also have the potential to negatively affect other renters.
• Allow 1-2 hours after arrival for departure paperwork, orientation to the RV including mandatory test-drive on the Class C RVs. We know you are excited and rushed to leave, but a well spent orientation time saves time later when you are trying to figure things out.
• RVs must be returned by 5:00 pm on your scheduled return date unless prior arrangements have been made. Strict late fees apply: $100.00 for the first hour and $35.00 for each additional hour. Returns after 7:00 pm will be charged for an additional night.

Policies
Reservation down payment is applied directly toward the total rental charges due at the time of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation regardless of time. This reservation down payment can be used for future reservations as a credit/discount code.
